Juvenile Wheatpastings
The construction barricades at our SF projects are often the recipients of wheatpasted movie, liquor, and prescription drug advertisements. These inspired us to devise a more productive use of street space. The result: an anonymous and ongoing exhibit of out-of-print children’s books that describe ‘building’. This source material illustrates how our culture’s motivations for and materials/practices of building have evolved and changed over time.
