Wemberly | Kensington
Originally designed by East Bay architect William R. Yelland in 1929… let’s just say this modest house experienced various well-intentioned remodels over the years that left it unable to serve its current family of 5. We were asked to assist in the comprehensive redesign of the interior, restoration of the exterior, and replacement of all infrastructure. The result is a revived Cottage Revival with hints of rustic exposed structure that counterpoint new finishes and fixtures. Each room has its own voice that speaks to the functions and comforts of the past, present, and hopefully the future.
