A grand Neo Classical Revival home is renovated, creating a finely proportioned parlor based on early post-colonial American and French design influences. The hand carved marble mantle, compound cornice mouldings and a bespoke suite of fine furniture work together to create a painstakingly crafted and unified formal living room. At the lower level, a wine room, his ‘Roosevelt Room’ and her ‘Ceramic Studio’ provide respite from the formality of the main floor above.
